Materials Management (LIMS)
ROAD & HIGHWAY
ExeVision’s Materials Management Subsystem (MMS) is a comprehensive, web-based solution that helps transportation agencies manage the full lifecycle of construction materials—from sampling and testing to lab certification, inventory tracking, and compliance reporting. MMS supports reliable quality assurance by capturing detailed materials data and linking it directly to the projects and pay items it affects.

In addition to managing material samples, test results, and specification data, MMS maintains accurate laboratory information, including personnel certifications, facility qualifications, equipment calibration, and testing protocols. All of this is tracked in a centralized environment designed to support agency audits, streamlined reporting, and day-to-day operations.

Built as a configurable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, MMS can be deployed as a standalone system or as part of ExeVision’s integrated iPDWeb platform. Agencies benefit from a flexible toolset that scales with their needs, improves visibility across departments, and ensures consistency in materials management across projects of any size.

Centralized Sample Management
ExeVision’s Materials Management System places the material sample at the center of the workflow, making it the primary access point for managing day-to-day materials activities. This design streamlines operations by allowing users to view and manage all related sample data—such as test status, assignments, attributes, and linked project information—from a single, unified screen. Whether viewing samples by contract, project, user, or across the entire system, the interface provides immediate access to the information needed to take action or generate reports.

This sample-centric approach not only improves user efficiency but also simplifies navigation and supports greater data consistency across the agency. MMS is a full-featured LIMS solution and can be deployed independently or as part of ExeVision’s broader iPDWeb platform, which includes integrated tools for Estimating, Electronic Bidding, Construction Management, and Civil Rights Compliance.
