Construction Management Subsystem (CMS)

iPDWeb Construction Management (CMS) is a purpose-built, web-based platform that enables transportation agencies to manage construction projects from award through final acceptance. Designed specifically for road and highway infrastructure, CMS supports daily reporting, pay item tracking, change orders, and field inspections—all within a centralized, easy-to-use system.

  • Road and highway–focused—developed for the unique needs of transportation and public works agencies.

  • Designed for maximum functionality at minimal cost—delivers the robust capabilities used by state DOTs, scaled affordably for counties and municipalities.

  • Real-time collaboration—connects agency staff, inspectors, and contractors through secure, role-based access.

  • Supports field operations—works seamlessly with ExeVision’s eFieldBook for mobile data entry in the field.

  • Cloud-hosted by ExeVision—ensures high availability, performance, and reduced IT burden.

eFieldBook - Field Data Collection

eFieldBook is a tablet-based application designed for engineers and inspectors to document daily work activities on construction sites, even in remote locations without network connectivity. It synchronizes seamlessly with the central Construction Management System (CMS) upon reestablishing a connection.

  • Record daily quantities, labor, equipment usage, weather conditions, and diary entries directly in the field.

  • Capture photos and enter field notes to provide comprehensive project documentation.

  • Operate offline with automatic data synchronization to CMS when connectivity is restored.

  • Ensure consistent and accurate data across multiple inspectors and engineers working on the same project.

Materials Management Subsystem (MMS)

iPDWeb Materials Management is a purpose-built, web-based solution that enables transportation agencies to manage all aspects of construction materials sampling, testing, and approval. Designed specifically for road and highway infrastructure, it supports full lifecycle tracking of samples, lab test results, qualified sources, and specification compliance—ensuring data accuracy and quality assurance throughout the project.

  • Road and highway–focused—developed for the specialized materials workflows of transportation and public works agencies.

  • Designed for maximum functionality at minimal cost—delivers the robust capabilities used by state DOTs, scaled affordably for counties and municipalities.

  • Centralized testing oversight—tracks samples, test results, lab equipment, and personnel certifications in one unified system.

  • Supports field operations—works seamlessly with ExeVision’s eFieldBook for capturing sample data and observations in the field.

  • Cloud-hosted by ExeVision—ensures high availability, performance, and reduced IT burden.

State-Level Tools, Tailored for Local Use

ExeVision offers counties, municipalities, engineering firms, and contractors access to the same powerful tools used by state DOTs—including iPDWeb, eFieldBook, and Materials Management. These solutions are built on the same core functionality and proven codebase, developed through years of real-world use on complex transportation projects.

For local agencies and smaller organizations, ExeVision delivers this functionality through a fully hosted, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model—removing the need for internal IT support or expensive custom development. While state DOTs often require deep customization and system integration, the SaaS version is pre-configured with best practices and allows for agency-level control over key items like approval workflows, user access rights, reporting, and more. This approach keeps the system flexible, efficient, and cost-effective—without the overhead of a fully customized implementation.
